The hard work of the world-class grounds team seems to be commendable, post the conclusion of the yesterday’s game as they are making all possible efforts to remedy and deliver the best surface for the rest of the matches.
Additionally, it also pointed out that the inconsistent bounce was caused by grassy veins in the track with the pitches which is being maintained and levelled to reduce the impact of the veins.
He said that because rolling the wicket pushes the grass in, the ball should hit a flatter surface and play better. Former Zimbabwean cricketers Andy Flower and Irfan Pathan, as well as Michael Vaughan, voiced their dissatisfaction with the playing surface and called the ground hazardous.
